The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology revised the Lithium Battery Industry Standard Conditions and added solid-state battery requirements!

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology solicited opinions on the revision of the "Standard Conditions for the Lithium Battery Industry (2024 version)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Standard Conditions").

The revised version has no change in the requirements for energy storage batteries, However, the relevant requirements for new solid-state batteries: the energy density of solid-state monomer batteries is ≥300Wh/kg, the energy density of the battery pack is ≥260Wh/kg, the cycle life is ≥1000 times and the capacity retention rate is ≥80%.

Specifically, the performance of energy storage monomer battery products remains unchanged: the energy density is ≥145Wh/kg, and the energy density of the battery pack is ≥100Wh/kg. The cycle life is ≥5000 times and the capacity retention rate is ≥80%.

It is clear that lithium battery enterprises should have electrostatic protection capabilities, and the dew point temperature during the injection process is ≤-45%℃.

Increase the performance requirements of solid-state monomer batteries: the energy density of monomer batteries is ≥300Wh/kg, and the energy density of battery packs is ≥260Wh/kg. The cycle life is ≥1000 times and the capacity retention rate is ≥80%.

The performance requirements of electrolyte products are increased: sulfate ion content ≤ 10ppm, chloride ion content <5ppm.

Clarify the comprehensive energy consumption of positive and negative electrodes and diaphragm enterprises: the comprehensive energy consumption of lithium manganate positive electrode materials enterprises is ≤ 400kgce/t, and the comprehensive energy consumption of other cathode materials enterprises is ≤1300kgce/t. The comprehensive energy consumption of negative material enterprises per unit is ≤1345kgce/t. The comprehensive energy consumption of diaphragm enterprise units is ≤ 800kgce/10,000 ㎡.

Remove the requirement for the energy density of consumer battery packs ≥180Wh/kg, and require the energy density of polymer battery packs ≥180Wh/kg.
