The "Regulations on Promoting the Development of the Lithium Battery Industry in Zaozhuang City" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations") were passed at the 13th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 17th People's Congress of Zaozhuang City on June 29 and approved at the 4th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th People's Congress of Shandong Province on July 26. They will come into effect on October 1 of this year. This regulation is the first special regulation for the lithium battery industry in China and the first industry promotion regulation formulated by Zaozhuang City.
